Julienne has been making jewelry for around 25 years. She got hooked as a child
entering California County Fairs with her jewelry
design.
After graduating college in Colorado with a degree in
fine art, she never lost her love of jewelry design.
She now owns 2 stores in New Mexico, but has 40
stores in the U.S. that carry her designs.
She has been featured in magazines including New
Mexico Magizine (April 2008). She is well known
for her Life Size beaded
horse sculpture. She designed and had 100
volunteers help bead the life size horse for 2 years.
It is on display at the Las Cruces County Building.
Julienne lives in the High desert of the organ
mountain in Las Cruces with her two sons and husband of
over 20 years. He's a professor at New Mexico
State Universiy.
Her time is happily split being a mom and wife in the
evening, but an artist in the daytime.
You can meet her at the Mesilla Shop every Tuesday or
in Cloudcroft every other Sunday to see her latest
works!
